Eventide Funeral Home has a lovely chapel with seating for 250.  Don’t feel obliged to have a traditional clergy-led service; there are a variety of ways to honour your loved one and the exceptional life they lived.  Bring their unique passions to the forefront – from talented artist to tireless world traveller, we can offer services to pay homage to their life.  

Here are some things to think about which will help tailor the funeral to the person being celebrated:

• Specific interests or qualities about the deceased that you feel are important to remember
• Anecdotes and stories
• People you want to be sure to include
• Clergy or appropriate speaker to lead the service
• People who may also want to speak at the service
• Songs and music to be played at the service and other events (visitation, reception)
• Poems, passages and other readings for the service

After the funeral, you may want to host a reception for family and friends to gather for a meal or refreshments. Our  large reception room, with full kitchen facilities, provides a welcoming place to reminisce, share tears and even a few laughs.
